Embossed and Distressed Letters

I was making up some thank you cards with page scraps this week and thought it would be cool to do some embossing. Here's how - start by placing your stickers down on a cutting mat or pad of paper. Place the paper to be embossed on top of the stickers. Rub over the top several times until the letters start showing through. Once you can see them, really press hard against the edges of the sticker to make a good impression. Keep the paper in place and sand or ink over the top to reveal the design. This works better with thicker stickers, but you can layer two on top of eachother to give more of an edge to the design.

Here are some samples of the finished items - the same stickers can be embossed over several times to make multiple projects.
