Big 'Ol Sun - double 12" pages

Here's a big bright page to display your summer photos on. The sun's face was cut using the pumpkin shape on Cricut's Doodlecharms cartridge. It measures about 6" tall. For the rays - cut strips from orange and yellow paper, tapering the strips so they get smaller toward the center of the sun.  The white frames on the left are 5 x 7" and on the right, they're 4.25 x 6.25".

After finishing the pages, I realized that the blue background was quite gaudy against the other colors, but oh well, it's done :) I suppose it might be my fault I was so distracted by my New Moon book on CD that I couldn't pay attention to my color palette. At last, I'm done with the book so I can pay more attention to my designs. Until I get my hands on Eclipse...
